Comfort Zone Camp
Echo Mike understands that grief touches families deeply and believes that every child deserves a safe place to grieve, connect, and simply be a kid. Enter Comfort Zone Camp. They offer free grief camps and support for children who’ve lost a parent or a sibling. Echo Mike has funded transportation for campers applying to attend camp in 2027.
Able Flight
Awarded the 2nd Echo Mike – The Mike Poznansky Scholarship to Ethan March at the EAA Able Flight Wing Pinning ceremony. Ethan’s life took a dramatic turn when he fell from a rooftop while working on a solar panel installation. At that point, he thought his dreams of becoming a rescue pilot were over. Through his incredible determination, deep passion for flight, and will to succeed, Ethan earned his wings through Able Flight’s Aviation program at SIU. Echo Mike covered the cost of his education, and Mike’s parents pinned Ethan’s wings on him at the Able Flight Wing Pairing Ceremony at EAA in Oshkosh.
Dog Is My Copilot
Dog Is My Copilot uses the power of flight to provide transportation for 6,000 animals each year, removing them from overcrowded shelters to communities where they have a greater chance of finding their forever homes. In June, Echo Mike proudly joined the squadron and contributes to their efforts on a monthly basis.

Able Flight
Echo Mike proudly awarded the first Echo Mike – The Mike Poznansky Foundation scholarship at Able Flight to deserving pilot, Ryan Berndt. Ryan was born prematurely. His complications required a leg amputation at birth to correct a leg deformity in his left leg and hip. Ryan was part of the class in which the 100th certified pilot to graduate from Able Flight’s program. Upon receiving his wings, Ryan said, “Flying was always a dream. I just needed the right runway.”
